Going on the Road for Fame, Glory and little bit of old fashioned rock and roll!
Submitted by Alexa Booth on Tue, 04/01/2008 - 11:38.
By now, most of you have heard the news: That strutta has gone on the road to perform live in various lucky BC locations.
I was pretty excited about going to Okanagan Falls and Horsefly, BC to play at the local bowling alleys.
Now, I'm not really one to blab about my life, However, I just have to say that on route to one of the Legions in Abbotsford I had a bit of a falling out with some of the band members. Not naming anyone.
Seriously considering leaving the band and just playing guitarhero on my own.
Rock band sucks anyway.
Saw Sonata Arctica in Concert Tonight! It was AMAZING.

Sonata Arctica is a Finnish Metal band I've been following for a while now, I hadn't listened to their new album until after this nights concert at the Plaza Club on Granville st. I was so impressed with the performance I bought the album Unia from iTunes as soon as I got home! They played In Black and White from the new album as well as bunch of awesome older songs Black Sheep, Gravenimage, Full Moon, Wolf & Raven..
Put together an attempt at video reviewing, and some terrible cellphone video and photos. Hopefully @jeremylim will have better footage to add later on :P
French-Canadian Indie Music is IN for 2008

The start of 2008. At the first meeting of the year I got asked about new years resolutions, everyone mentioned the same 'old' things: being a better person, looking after themselves more etc etc. I personally am against the idea of making goals simply because it's the beginning of the year. I have observed that most of the people who are making these 'resolutions' do not follow through with them, and by the time March and April roll around they are back to where they were in December. (I'm not against the idea of goals, I do make them, just throughout the year)
iPod Nano

So, the big happy family at Strutta.com bestowed us with shiny new ipod Nano's yesterday during our weekly meeting.
I am amazed at how tiny it is! So incredibly thin! My 30Gb ipod is a monster in comparison- and had been reduced to a storage device rather than a music listening device. This tiny ipod I could actually go running with, and it would fit inside my bamboo sweater's tiny pocket on the arm no problem!
They finally seem to have replaced that terribly easy to scratch surface on the front of the 'pod and replaced with a smudge free matte finish, but kept it on the back? (at least the front will remain looking pretty).
