Going on the Road for Fame, Glory and little bit of old fashioned rock and roll!

By now, most of you have heard the news: That strutta has gone on the road to perform live in various lucky BC locations.
I was pretty excited about going to Okanagan Falls and Horsefly, BC to play at the local bowling alleys.
Now, I'm not really one to blab about my life, However, I just have to say that on route to one of the Legions in Abbotsford I had a bit of a falling out with some of the band members. Not naming anyone.
Seriously considering leaving the band and just playing guitarhero on my own.
Rock band sucks anyway.

In a recent blog post & web radio show on radio3.cbc.ca, Grant Lawrence asks the burning question: IS GUITAR HERO STUPID? - The people vote NO - 63% and YES - 37% I missed the web show, but I did leave my own two cents.
I realised I was blabbing a bit too much for a comment, and decided it would make a good follow up blog post to some recent discussions I've been having with my good friend UnConeD as well as others.

The start of 2008. At the first meeting of the year I got asked about new years resolutions, everyone mentioned the same 'old' things: being a better person, looking after themselves more etc etc. I personally am against the idea of making goals simply because it's the beginning of the year. I have observed that most of the people who are making these 'resolutions' do not follow through with them, and by the time March and April roll around they are back to where they were in December. (I'm not against the idea of goals, I do make them, just throughout the year)
